We are a leading homelessness service peak body, advocating for systemic change and supporting frontline services to prevent and end homelessness. Our mission is to drive solutions that ensure everyone has a suitable and affordable home and the support to keep it.

The Role

We are seeking a volunteer Board Director to provide strategic leadership and help us strengthen our impact. As a Board Director, you will guide our vision, contribute your expertise, and support our mission to end homelessness.

Who We’re Looking For

We welcome applications from individuals with skills or experience in at least one of the following areas:

• Fundraising & Philanthropy – Experience in securing funding, donor relations, or grant writing.
  
• Legal Expertise – Knowledge of corporate law and governance, not-for-profit law, or housing rights.
  
• Marketing & Public Relations – Ability to amplify our message, grow our reach, and engage supporters.
  
• First Nations Leadership – We strongly encourage applications from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, as we value diverse perspectives and the importance of Aboriginal leadership in our governance.

Time Commitment

Board meetings are held virtually every two months (or more often as required), with occasional face to face strategic planning sessions and events.
