We are looking for an experienced manager to provide leadership in the management of homelessness programs, for a full-time 1.0 EFT position (76 hours per fortnight) based in the fast expanding, local government area of Melton.
Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will enjoy providing leadership and direction to 2 reports and you will build on a culture of service excellence where optimal outcomes for young people are achieved. Together with the Operations Manager you will set the strategic direction of the programs that fall within your portfolio, and you will ensure compliance in all operational areas including service delivery, risk management and continual quality improvement.
You have a Bachelor’s degree in Youth Work, Social Work, Psychology (with honours) and you have a minimum of 5 years experience as a Team Leader, Program Coordinator or in a management role.
You have a good understanding of delivering supported crisis response services to young people through client- focused, therapeutic approaches within a case management framework. You share the values and the philosophy of the organisation and look forward to the opportunity to make a significant difference in the community.
