NCN Health operates as a highly integrated small rural health service that provides a comprehensive range of acute, residential aged care, community and primary care services to the people of Nathalia, Cobram and Numurkah – a catchment of 18,000 people.
NCN Health was created on 1 July 2019, combining the services of three former health organisations – Nathalia District Hospital, Cobram District Health and Numurkah District Health Service. Located close to the NSW Border and Murray River, and within one hour of Shepparton, this role will offer the successful applicant career advancement and an opportunity to take an already high performing organisation to the next level.
The CEO will provide executive leadership, operational management and direction towards the achievement of NCN Health Vision, Priorities, Objectives and Strategic Directions. Under the direction of the Board, the CEO is responsible for implementing the strategic direction of NCN Health ensuring that the organisation maintains an excellent reputation, meets statutory regulations and promotes the general health of the population by developing a highly coordinated and accessible service. NCN Health is committed to strong and effective partnerships with internal and external stakeholders.
To be considered for this role, you will be a proven executive in the healthcare sector with a track record of success in the leadership of complex health services and programs, achieving key performance indicators and budget targets.
You will also hold relevant tertiary qualifications, and have extensive knowledge of current trends affecting public sector health in Victoria and Australia. High level relationship management skills and an excellent understanding of governance and risk management frameworks are essential.
