Team Leader - Immunisation

  • $111,235 per annum pro rata (Immunisation Nurse Rate + 5%), plus Super
  • Permanent Part Time (22.8 hours per week)

Hume City Council is seeking to engage an experienced and passionate Team Leader Immunisation to coordinate the delivery of its childhood, school-based and workplace immunisation service.

In addition to overseeing and coordinating the delivery of this service, the team leader will provide strategic leadership across all aspects of immunisation operations with a particular focus on improving immunisation access and uptake across Hume's diverse community and building a team culture that promotes excellence, best practice, and continuous improvement.

Our preferred candidate will possess previous experience in developing inclusive service responses and procedures to improve outcomes for vulnerable families and people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds. In addition to an advanced understanding of integrated and innovative practice, our preferred candidate will also possess sound budgeting, communication and report writing skills.

Key Skills

  • Experience in coordinating and operating Council or similar immunisation services.
  • Experience in delivering high-quality, accessible services to clients of diverse socio-economic, culturally and linguistically backgrounds.
  • Experience in building a positive team culture, driving innovation and continuous improvement within a team
