The Illawarra Aboriginal Corporation (IAC) is seeking an experienced AboriginalTeam Leader to guide the Marana Family Preservation Program, supporting families at risk and ensuring children remain safe at home.
About the Role
- Lead and mentor a team of caseworkers.
- Oversee case management, risk assessments, and intervention strategies.
- Ensure compliance with best practices and cultural safety principles.
- Build strong relationships with Aboriginal communities and stakeholders.
- Monitor program effectiveness and provide high-level reporting.
What You Bring
- Leadership experience in Family Wellbeing, IFBS, or Child Protection.
- Tertiary qualification in Community Services, Social Work, or related field.
- Strong knowledge of Aboriginal communities and cultural frameworks.
- Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and case management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and database systems.
- WWCC, National Police Check, NSW Driver’s Licence required.
