We are seeking an experienced advocacy project manager who is an exceptional communicator and has a demonstrated track record of success in leading advocacy campaigns and/or programs. This is a wonderful opportunity for the right person to make a globally significant contribution to raise awareness about organ trafficking and human rights abuses occurring in China today.
The project manager will work with our executive director to develop and implement our global advocacy and outreach programs ensuring that relevant standards, requirements and quality are met at all times. The role may at times include managing subcontracted services and volunteers.
ETAC's global outreach program is primarily aimed at raising the profile of the human rights abuse of forced organ harvesting and the business and human rights due diligence required. It also informs and engages with a range of stakeholders - including legal, medical, governmental and civil society organisations . Our projects call for accountability and transparency, produces outreach and educational materials, and empowers and communicates with the victim diaspora.

The term of this role is fixed until 31st December 2025 with a probation period of 3 months
There is the possibility that the role will continue through 2026 and beyond as funding allows.
ETAC is a registered Australian charity with international activities. The principal object for which ETAC has been established is to end forced organ harvesting from prisoners of conscience in China and seek justice for the victims, and to advance knowledge of, and promote education about, human rights and values regarding organ trafficking, specifically, the forced removal and trafficking of organs from prisoners of conscience in China. ETAC initiated the China Tribunal (www.chinatribunal.com), an independent people’s tribunal chaired by Sir Geoffrey Nice KC, that assessed all available evidence and concluded that forced organ harvesting has been happening for a substantial period of time in China to a very substantial number of victims.
