ABOUT THE ROLE

Our In-Home Support Program provides older Australians with entry-level support services to live independently and safely at home, under the Commonwealth Home Support Programme (CHSP). As the Client Liaison & Admin Officer, you facilitate the end-to-end delivery of the In-Home Support Program, managing the request, scheduling, billing and timekeeping for services including cleaning, gardening, minor handyman and unaccompanied shopping. This opportunity is a full time role based from our office in Surry Hills in a hybrid capacity, with opportunities to work from home. The current project runs to 30 June 2025 with the potential to extend pending program funding. Remuneration starts from $37.35 per hour [$1,420 per week] plus leave loading, superannuation & salary packaging, in line with Level 3 SCHADS Award.

Responsibilities:

  • Managing the workflow and service requests in the “my aged care portal”, incl. consent forms, and risk assessment
  • Ensuring all services provided are planned, scheduled, and confirmed, incl. liaising with agencies
  • Ensuring clients’ needs are understood, documented, and met, and high quality service is delivered in line with processes, policies, and procedures
  • Administering billing in line with ICLA’s systems, processes, and management plans, incl. uploading of time sheets
  • Promoting a strong safety culture and supporting the Property & Assets Manager with identification and oversight of key risks & incident management
  • Establishing and nourishing positive working partnerships with stakeholders including agencies and (casual) staff
  • Supporting staff recruitment as required
  • Assisting with developing marketing materials for the program
  • Supporting upcoming ICLA projects as required.

ABOUT YOU

Essential Criteria

  1. Proven understanding of compliance and WHS requirements in the sector
  2. Proven communicator, skilled in dealing with people from different backgrounds with proficient written and verbal English language skills
  3. Strong organisational and time management skills, able to prioritise and manage various administrative tasks
  4. High attention to detail and strong commitment to maintaining confidentiality
  5. Flexible & adaptable in responding to the changing needs of clients, staff, and external stakeholders
  6. Functional IT skills, including MS Office suite (i.e. Outlook, Word, and Excel)
  7. Current NSW driver’s license
  8. Current NDIS worker screening check or willingness to complete prior to commencing
  9. Unrestricted right to work in Australia

Desirable:

  • Project experience
  • Certificate III in Community Services, or related field
  • Experience working in a not-for-profit environment.
