ABOUT THE ROLE

As Senior Manager – Residential Services, you will align and oversee ICLA’s Supported Independent Living (SIL) program to deliver outstanding consumer-focused outcomes and enhance the organisation’s reputation as a leading provider. As a member of the executive management team, you are also responsible and accountable for rolling out ICLA’s next strategic plan.

This parental leave cover opportunity is full-time office hours from early March to 1 December 2025. This hybrid role is based from our Surry Hills office, and remuneration includes not-for-profit salary packaging.

Responsibilities

  • Overseeing sustainable residential services, optimising ICLA’s ability to support consumers & supporting ICLA’s transformation as a sustainable and consumer-driven organisation
  • Leading and growing the residential services for ICLA, increasing the number of people we support while maintaining occupancy at agreed targets and/or social housing requirements
  • Providing leadership to residential services ensuring they reach developmental milestones and key performance indicators, incl. reporting on services and consumer outcomes; managing budgets and financial oversight of the services
  • Engaging with the sector to deliver best practices in residential services and maintaining effective relationships with key external stakeholders
  • Supporting a recovery-oriented service provision, coaching, practice, clinical governance, and risk management across the team
  • Contributing to informing the directives provided by the Board of Directors
  • Other relevant duties as required by the CEO.
  • Demonstrating ICLA’s values, purpose and mission and role model associated behaviours across the organisation
  • Leading with courage, communicating to create clarity, being consistent and empathetic

ABOUT YOU

Essential Criteria:

  1. Tertiary Qualifications in Disability Services, Community Services, Allied Health, or other relevant discipline
  2. Demonstrated experience in managing Supported Independent Living, with a focus on supporting people with complex psychosocial mental health conditions
  3. Demonstrated experience with the NDIS as well as relevant clinical, non-clinical and recovery-oriented frameworks
  4. Demonstrated project management experience, utilising evidence and data-driven approach to service enhancements
  5. Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a people manager and leader
  6. Experience with report writing at senior management level
  7. Demonstrated risk management & clinical governance experience with a passion for quality
  8. Proven strategic leader and strong influencer, experienced in empowering others to achieve organisational and individual goals
  9. Proven decision maker with results and solution orientation
  10. Current NDIS worker screening check or willingness to complete before commencing
  11. Unrestricted right to work in Australia

Desirable:

  • Experience in working in social community housing environment
