We are seeking a highly motivated, paediatric experienced Grade 2 clinician to join our growing Child & Family Services Team. The applicant will demonstrate a passion for working within a multi and transdisciplinary supportive team environment in the wonderful world of paediatrics. AccessHC has an excellent reputation for its highly experienced and dynamic teams of allied health professionals who deliver services to pre-school and school aged children and their families.
School Readiness Funding provides kindergartens with access to quality programs and support systems that will help children get the most out of their early learning. Alongside a team of allied health professionals, this role will deliver capacity building supports to education staff and families with a focus on the three priority areas of wellbeing, communication and access/inclusion.
Occupational therapy support will be provided through coaching, modelling, consultation and formal/informal learning options focusing on areas such as self-care, self-regulation and fine motor skills.
Within multi and transdisciplinary teams, this role will deliver centre based and outreach services to eligible families in Eastern Melbourne through Community Health and NDIS funding.We offer a highly supportive work environment and value joint assessments, joint interventions and group programs where families receive holistic, strengths-based support, and where clinicians share knowledge and skills with each other.
We offer our team members weekly ongoing learning and development opportunities through regular team meetings, case conferencing and peer support. Our Senior Occupational Therapists conduct fortnightly one-to-one supervision providing a rich learning environment. This is a permanent full-time position reporting to the Manager of Clinical Operations based across our Child and Family sites.
