Our client, Priority Red Health Foundation, is a new and innovative organisation passionate about solving problems and finding creative solutions in Primary Health Care to ensure long-term sustainability in General Practices and Communities.

We are seeking an experienced Communication & Engagement Officer to lead communication and media activities across the organisation. Our client is a Primary Healthcare organisation servicing Western NSW that has created a new start-up company in response to significant Primary Care needs. This role works across the organisation to implement best-practice communications activities with our staff, Executive and Board.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage an annual Communications Plan and budget
• Manage local media and related materials
• Manage, maintain and develop the website
• Prepare and distribute electronic publications
• Monitor and report on social media platform performance
• Integrate best-practice communications throughout the organisation
• Ensure brand integrity and application of best practices
• Create and implement promotional campaigns
• Advise on related Legal and Regulatory Compliance

You will need:

• Tertiary qualifications in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations or similar.
• Experience in a similar position of professional responsibility and accountability
• Excellent writing skills
• Experience in website maintenance, social media management and promotional campaigns
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• High-level attention to detail and time management skills

Travel, including overnight stays, across the region within Western NSW will be necessary. Occasional intrastate and/or interstate travel may also be required.
