Newly created opportunity! Join Australian Cancer Research Foundation and lead a variety of exciting national community fundraising campaigns focused on peer-to-peer, DIY and signature events that make an impact in the lives of Australian’s affected by cancer. This role sits within the Partnerships & Community Fundraising portfolio and will be a key contributor to ACRF’s annual financial plan.
Australian Cancer Research Foundation (ACRF) provide world-class scientists with the technology, equipment and infrastructure they need to develop better prevention, earlier detection and more effective treatment across all cancer types.
Since 1984, thanks to generous supporters, ACRF have awarded grants totalling over $184 million to 44 research institutions across Australia.
No life should be cut short by cancer and ACRF are here to back bold ideas that lead to breakthroughs and discoveries that help each individual diagnosed with this complex and disruptive disease.
2 in 5 Australians will be diagnosed with cancer by the age of 85, the remaining 3 will be closely affected by a diagnosis. In this newly created role, you will lead on the Community Fundraising portfolio focused on all multi-channel national peer-to-peer, DIY, third-party, and signature community fundraising events. This includes signature national peer-to-peer fundraising events, (60km in May and Brave Shave), DIY fundraising activities, (Hair Dare, Host, Challenge and Celebrate) along with third party and signature events (such as marathons and run campaigns).
You’ll will leverage data to craft dynamic donor journeys, maximising fundraising success across the entire portfolio. You will inspire and manage a talented Coordinator while working together to drive the success of events that are crucial in funding cutting-edge cancer research.
