Australia for UNHCR is the UN Refugee Agency’s national partner in Australia, raising awareness and funds to support UNHCR’s global emergency response to humanitarian crises.

Impact you will make in this role

We are looking for a motivated Digital Fundraising Coordinator to join a high-performing digital team! In this role, you will be responsible for developing and overseeing the execution of digital fundraising campaigns across paid channels, including TV, to drive donor acquisition and revenue growth.

You will work closely with the Digital Manager to monitor campaign performance, offer actionable insights, and support the execution of digital initiatives across multiple platforms.

This role offers the opportunity to make a real impact by utilising data to optimise digital strategies and collaborate with internal teams and external partners to improve campaign effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with external media agencies, digital publishers, and advertising platforms.
  • Collaborate with the performance agency to execute fundraising campaigns across paid social, search, PMAX, TV, and digital video.
  • Monitor campaign performance and provide recommendations to optimise results.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to create digital assets aligned with objectives.
  • Support implementation of owned digital channels, including website, email, and SMS.
  • Identify new opportunities for revenue generation and optimise existing initiatives.
  • Report on campaign performance against benchmarks and data.
  • Analyse donor data to improve the donor experience.
  • Oversee setup of tracking codes for digital campaigns.
  • Manage additional projects as assigned by the Digital Marketing Manager.
  • Support the Australia for UNHCR Emergency Strategy when needed.

Skills & Experience

  • Tertiary qualification or relevant professional experience in digital marketing, fundraising, marketing, ecommerce, media advertising, communications, or similar.
  • Experience implementing integrated multichannel digital campaigns.
  • Proven ability to analyse and interpret digital marketing performance data.
  • Experience working with media agencies to execute paid digital marketing campaigns.
  • Strong project management skills with a focus on collaboration and stakeholder engagement
  • Innovative and proactive
  • Creative eye to create assets using online graphic design tools (e.g., Canva).
  • A passion to advocate and fundraise for refugee protection, emergency aid, and long-term support and solutions.
