Impact you will have in this role

This newly created role will strengthen and help shape the future of ACRF’s digital strategy, overseeing and driving all digital platforms with a focus on innovation.

You will bring high-level expertise in website UX, digital design, SEO, SEM, paid digital media, and the development and execution of digital campaigns.

Reporting to the Marketing and Communications Manager, you will be a hands-on expert who keeps your ‘finger on the pulse’ with the latest digital trends, offering valuable recommendations and insights on best practices and emerging technologies. As a digital enthusiast with a proactive mindset, you will inspire and motivate others with your energy and initiative.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate on developing ACRF’s digital strategy with the General Manager and Marketing team
  • Stay updated on digital trends and innovations to improve campaigns and engage new audiences
  • Work with program managers to enhance fundraising efforts using digital tools
  • Manage the relationship with the website agency and ensure alignment with cybersecurity policies
  • Transfer research findings into website content and manage the monthly newsletter
  • Collaborate with program leads to create donor engagement email journeys
  • Ensure smooth integration of digital platforms (Campaign Monitor, Funraisin, Salesforce, etc.) to optimise supporter experiences
  • Develop and manage paid social media campaigns
  • Liaise with media partners, providing insights and reports on campaign performance
  • Guide the team on improving the effectiveness of digital campaigns
  • Develop SEO and content plans for the website in collaboration with the Content Coordinator
  • Maintain and optimise website content, SEO, and performance
  • Develop landing pages and provide regular performance updates and insights
  • Project manage digital marketing campaigns and create engaging email communications
  • Collaborate on creating compelling digital content aligned with ACRF’s brand
  • Manage social media and community engagement across Meta, Twitter, and LinkedIn

Skills and Attributes:

  • Strong background in digital marketing, including social media ads, Google Ads, SEO, email marketing (e.g., Campaign Monitor), and marketing automation
  • Experience managing and optimising websites across various platforms and CMS
  • Digital fundraising or lead generation experience, ideally with third-party platforms like Funraisin
  • Ability to create compelling digital campaign content
  • Strong project management skills with a focus on collaboration and stakeholder engagement
  • Excellent copywriting and content development abilities
  • Proficiency in reporting and analysing digital metrics, especially GA4
  • Innovative, curious, and proactive
  • Excellent communication, attention to detail, and organisational skills
  • Strong interpersonal, collaborative, and people management skills
  • A passion to make an impact in the lives of Australian’s affected by cancer through breakthroughs and discoveries in cancer research
