Fantastic career opportunity to lead the growth of opportunities with philanthropic donors and corporate partners on their journey to make an impact on fighting hunger with Foodbank NSW/ACT.
Foodbank provides essential food and groceries to more than 1 million vulnerable Australians every year. To do this, they work with the entire Australian food and grocery sector, including farmers, wholesalers, manufacturers, and retailers who donate and redirect surplus product to them so they can make it available to charities providing emergency food relief.
Foodbank NSW & ACT is a not-for-profit, non-denominational, federated organisation that supports over 1,100 schools and place-based organisations across NSW and ACT.
Each month, they provide 337,000 households with food and grocery assistance. Despite Foodbank’s scale and capacity, they are currently only meeting half the need. Foodbank is looking for like-minded people to join the team and support their mission to ensure everyone has access to quality food and essentials when they need it.
This is a fantastic and impactful opportunity for a dynamic, motivated, and passionate fundraiser to bring your proven success in relationship development to lead the growth of the Partnerships and Philanthropy programs, making a significant impact on the fight against hunger.
As the Head of Partnerships and Philanthropy at Foodbank NSW/ACT, you will lead the development and build of high-value partnerships with corporate organisations and high-net-worth individuals (HNWIs). You will work closely and collaboratively with senior stakeholders and passionate volunteers to identify new opportunities, deliver successful fundraising strategies, and achieve income targets.
We are searching for an inspired and visionary fundraiser with proven success in growing, diversifying, and fostering sustainable, long-term, and evolving relationships that directly contribute to fundraising outcomes and make an impact on fighting hunger.
