Impact you will make in this role

Reporting to the General Manager of Fundraising and Marketing, this newly created role will lead the organisation’s brand, content strategy, and digital presence to enhance community awareness, donor engagement, and fundraising efforts.

Working closely with the fundraising team, you’ll ensure consistent messaging and create compelling communications that support fundraising campaigns, increase awareness, and drive engagement. Additionally, this role offers the opportunity to manage and mentor a team member.

As the Marketing and Digital Engagement Manager, you will be joining the organisation during a period of exciting growth. This position is ideal for a proactive, innovative marketer with a blend of strategic and operational expertise, who excels in an agile, collaborative team setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategies to strengthen the Youth Insearch brand and ensure consistent messaging.
  • Manage fundraising initiatives including campaigns, community outreach, and peer-to-peer fundraising efforts.
  • Lead the digital transformation of marketing functions and contribute to the communication strategy.
  • Execute content marketing strategies across digital and traditional channels.
  • Build relationships with external agencies and stakeholders, while overseeing website and social media strategies.
  • Create marketing materials for donor communication and ensure brand consistency.
  • Analyse engagement data, track performance, and adjust strategies to maximise impact.

Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, or a related field.
  • Strong creative development, brand management, and digital marketing skills, with experience in measuring and tracking campaign ROI.
  • Experience in content creation, marketing materials, and executing successful integrated campaigns.
  • Proven success in driving revenue growth through developing marketing strategies across digital and traditional channels.
  • Skilled in website management, social media strategies, and content integration.
  • Strong written communication skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent organisational and project management abilities.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with a blend of creative thinking and analytical capabilities.
  • Proactive, driven, and solutions-focused with a "can-do" attitude.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft 365 and databases/CRM (Salesforce preferred).
  • Passionate about the social service and mental health sector.

Essential Requirements:

  • Approved Working with Children’s Check (in the relevant state).
  • Clear National Police Check.
