Australian Cancer Research Foundation (ACRF) provide world-class scientists with the technology, equipment and infrastructure they need to develop better prevention, earlier detection and more effective treatment across all cancer types.
Since 1984, thanks to generous supporters, ACRF have awarded 90 grants totalling over $204 million to 44 research institutions across Australia.
No life should be cut short by cancer and ACRF are here to back bold ideas that lead to breakthroughs and discoveries that help each individual diagnosed with this complex and disruptive disease.
2 in 5 Australians will be diagnosed with cancer by the age of 85, the remaining 3 will be closely affected by a diagnosis. This is your opportunity to join ACRF and contribute to their important work; people need Australia’s best cancer research, and this critical role will work to raise vital funds to support this need.
As the Senior Community Fundraising Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating fundraising campaigns including ACRF’s national signature peer-to-peer 60k in May and a high-volume calendar of third-party running events that take place right across the country.
This role will be at the forefront of recruiting participants, donors, and supporters to support life-saving cancer research.
You will be passionate, energetic, and results-driven, executing campaigns from start to finish while building strong relationships with participants of the running events and 60k in May. This role will work cross-functionally with the internal marketing team and will have the support of agency partners.
Your focus will be on increasing funds, providing an exceptional supporter experience, and boosting ACRF’s visibility across Australia. With a hands-on approach, you will play a vital role in growing the fundraising base and advancing ACRF’s mission to create a world without cancer.
Please apply by uploading your resume and cover letter expressing your interest and suitability for the role.
