ABOUT IMPACT CO.
Impact Co. is a management consulting agency working in the mental health, health, First Nations, and social service sectors. Our purpose is to build a more equitable Australia by enabling our partners to amplify their positive impact. We deliver insights, strategy, design and evaluation services to create evidence-informed and future-focused plans with real, meaningful outcomes.
We do so by working with various organisations, including community-based organisations, not-for-profits of varying sizes, peak bodies, and government agencies and departments with significant budgets and policy influence.
To support our consultants, we provide generous benefits, including:
- Full-time role with every second Friday off (i.e. compressing the hours from 10 business days into 9 working days)
- 7 extra days of leave each year (i.e. 3 wellbeing days, 2 additional annual leave days, birthday, and Impact Co. day). This is in addition to the standard 4 weeks of annual leave and other standard entitlements (such as personal leave, parental leave, etc.)

THE POSITION
We seek an ambitious leader with the drive, commitment, and desire to grow the Queensland arm of our consulting business. You will leverage your extensive professional networks to win business opportunities and nurture new prospects across one or more of our focus sectors: health, mental health, First Nations, and social service.
To succeed in this role, you will be able to achieve the following:
- Expand Impact Co.’s existing project portfolio in Queensland by drawing on your extensive networks and sector position.
- Actively and continuously engage with current and potential clients via 1:1 meetings, networking events, conferences and other business development activities.
- Develop and execute (with internal support) business development and marketing strategies to achieve growth in Queensland.
- Lead the development of proposals.
- Lead projects from inception to completion, both autonomously and directly, with other team members.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- A respected leader (or emerging leader) who can draw on their extensive network in one or more of the health, mental health, First Nations and social service sectors
- A leader (or emerging leader) in the government, for-purpose or consulting sector(s)
- Demonstrated experience in achieving revenue growth and executing business development via a range of innovative and entrepreneurial techniques. This experience does not need to come from the consulting industry but needs to be transferrable to the work of Impact Co.
- Demonstrated experience preparing high-quality proposals and reports for varying organisations, including community-based organisations, not-for-profits of varying sizes, peak bodies, and government agencies and departments
- Demonstrated experience leading multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong communication skills
