Full-time role with every second Friday off (i.e. compressing the hours from 10 business days into 9 working days)

The Marketing & Communications Coordinator role at Impact Co. is dynamic and multifaceted, ideal for a self-starter eager to develop their marketing management skillset while making a tangible impact. Reporting to the Strategic Projects Lead, the Marketing and Communications Coordinator will work closely with the senior team to support internal and external marketing and communications efforts.
Day-to-day responsibilities include developing and delivering documents and proposals to brand standards, coordinating business pitches for the consulting team, managing Impact Co.’s website and social media presence, and collaborating with decision-makers to ensure communications effectively support business changes and amplify success stories. With a focus on strong attention to detail, the successful candidate will bring a combination of creativity, basic graphic design skills (e.g., Canva or Microsoft Office tools), and initiative to provide valuable feedback and drive marketing improvements.
This role is critical in communicating Impact Co.'s impact to prospective clients and enhancing the organisation's reputation to help win future work. The Marketing and Communications Coordinator will gain valuable experience in consulting and communications strategy and have opportunities for professional growth. While offered as a fixed-term role, the incumbent can secure a permanent position with increasing management responsibilities as the role evolves alongside the business.
Marketing coordination: Developing marketing documents, supporting the development of proposals, and pitch presentations to brand standards, and maintaining consistent, high-quality communications across all external channels.
Digital engagement: Managing Impact Co.’s website, SEO, social media presence, including creating and scheduling engaging digital content, monitoring performance, and providing feedback for continuous improvement.
Brand champion and impact amplification: Stewarding the application of Impact Co’s brand to a high standard, highlighting the organisation’s success stories, impact, and values to build a strong brand reputation and demonstrate the organisation’s differentiating value.
Content creation and design: Producing high-quality content for internal and external audiences, with attention to detail and basic graphic design skills using tools like Canva and Microsoft Office.
Marketing processes: Consulting with decision-makers on refining business development and marketing processes and identifying solutions to support Impact Co’s goals best.
Internal communications: Collaborating with teams across the business, including the People & Culture team and consulting teams, to ensure communications align with organisational goals and priorities as Impact Co. grows.

2+ years of professional marketing and communications experience, with internal and external communications exposure.
Strong working knowledge of branding, content creation, and social media management, with an eye for detail and consistency.
Passion for storytelling and amplifying impact, focusing on crafting clear, engaging, and audience-driven communications.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously while meeting tight (and overlapping) deadlines.
Highly proactive and capable of working autonomously while collaborating effectively within dynamic, cross-functional teams.
Basic graphic design skills using tools such as Canva, Microsoft Office, or equivalent platforms, focusing on delivering visually impactful outputs.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to tailor messaging for diverse audiences.
Creative and innovative thinker who takes initiative to identify opportunities for improvement and drive results.
Strategic mindset with a desire to align communications with business priorities and long-term growth goals.
A strong interest in social impact and a desire to use marketing and communications to drive meaningful change.
