We are seeking a People & Culture Manager for a maternity leave cover at 0.6 FTE, to support the day-to-day People & Culture operations plus delivery of Impact Co.’s workforce strategy. The term of the role will be for a minimum of 6-months (i.e. to end of April 2025), with the possibility of extension for up to 12-months.
You will be joining a dynamic and growing team of 20+ management consultants, that deliver a diverse range of projects within Health, Mental Health, First Nations and Social Services sectors. You will form part of the Impact Co.’s internal team, that includes operations, BD and communications functions.
The role is 3 days a week, with the option to work from home at least one day a week. The role reports to one of the Co-Founders, as the sponsor of People & Culture.
The salary is $100,000 - $120,000 (full time equivalent) + bonus. This is inclusive of superannuation.
The role:
The work that you will be doing (explained in more detail below) will seek to amplify the employee experience via:
- Supporting day-to-day People & Culture operations, and
- Lead the development of key content and the delivery of Impact Co.’s workforce strategy.
People & Culture operations
- Recruitment: Leading the recruitment process for a number of roles whilst being supported by team members to conduct the various interviews
- Onboarding; Leading the delivery of a comprehensive onboarding program for new starters
- Engagement; Monitoring the engagement levels and culture across the organisation and identifying and mitigating culture or change fatigue risks
- Development (L&D); Working in partnership with key Directors to 1) identify L&D needs at a peer group and organisation wide level, then supporting delivery (either internally or externally) and 2) overseeing Impact Co.’s approach to Coaching
- Performance: Leading the delivery of the quarterly and annual performance review process, using Culture Amp (which you must be familiar with)
- Exit: Conducing exit interviews and identing and sharing key learnings with the Leadership Team
Workforce Strategy
Impact Co.’s 2024 – 2026 Workforce Strategy is still in development however it is anticipated that some of the key strategic areas will involve:
- Recruitment of various roles
- Utilisation and capacity tracking
- Benchmarking fo roles against industry standards
- Develop and maintain HR policies to ensure they reflect legislative changes and/or contemporary practice
- Updating Impact Co.’s Capability Framework and career pathway
- Capability building and coaching
- Updating relevant policies and governance documents
- Supporting change management and an ongoing collaborative and positive culture
The strategic areas, once finalised, will be delivered over the course of the next two years. You will not be expected to deliver all of them, rather, support to deliver the areas that align best with your skill set and capacity.
About you:
Ideally, you possess:
- 5+ years professional experience, including past work experience in professional services or one of Impact Co.’s sectors of focus
- HR or relevant tertiary qualification
- Experience with Culture Amp software
- Experience with Coaching (and relevant qualification)
In addition, you can demonstrate the ability to:
