Over the past decade, we’ve partnered with over 100 social and First Nations enterprises, supporting them in building scalable business models that balance financial sustainability with social impact.

Our Impact Advisory team offers tailored strategic advice to organisations and collaborations looking to increase their impact and sustainability.

We offer corporates, government, Aboriginal corporations, funds and community organisations the following services:

  • Strategy and Governance – Development of organisation, program and collaboration strategies; feasibility study and business case development.
  • Outcomes Management – Design and implementation of frameworks and strategies for organisations across sectors to effectively measure and optimise impact.
  • Corporate Sustainability – Design and implementation of ESG and impact management frameworks and strategies; design of social investment and impact investment funds.
  • Evaluation – Design and delivery of process, impact, cost-benefit and systems change evaluations.

In 2025, our team is growing! We are currently undertaking a broad range of impactful projects across this service offering and are scaling both our capacity building and impact advisory offerings and now we’re looking for an Impact Consultant or Specialist to join us in helping leaders navigate different growth and systems challenges. 

Current clients include State Government (DPLH and DPIRD), KeyStart, Juluwarlu Aborignal Corporation, WA Return Recycle Renew, Volunteering WA, CBH, Woodside, the Pilbara Ranger Network (various funders), Rio Tinto, St Pat’s, Perth NRM, South 32, Youth Focus plus a range of social enterprises such as The Keeping Place, Aboriginal Arts Centre Hub WA, Mettle Women, Reboot and Redrawn.

About the role

This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a dynamic, project-based environment and enjoys working across multiple sectors and with a broad range of clients. You’ll provide practical, hands-on support to companies, government, Aboriginal corporations, and impact-driven enterprises helping them to increase their impact and sustainability. 

As a key member of our team, we are looking for an Impact Consultant or Specialist with strong leadership, problem solving, analysis, stakeholder engagement, communication and organisational skills, to support our rapidly growing impact advisory practice. This role would suit a candidate with at least 5 (Consultant) or 8 (Specialist) years’ experience in consulting, problem solving or program management roles in a private sector, government or social impact organisation.

Role/Responsibilities

  • Developing and executing work-plans as part of a team to deliver high quality deliverables for our clients and partners.
  • Providing qualitative, quantitative and financial analysis, and research support on impact advisory and capacity building projects.
  • Leading problem solving to support clients address complex social issues and deliver outcomes.
  • Multi-stakeholder workshop facilitation and stakeholder engagement with client staff, partners and beneficiaries.
  • Preparing clear and compelling presentation materials and reports.
  • Supporting business development as required (e.g. writing proposals, attending initial meetings with potential clients).

Impact Consultants work on engagements as part of a team and are usually managed by an Impact Specialist or Director. Impact Specialists lead projects with support provided by Directors. A typical engagement lasts between 3-6 months and a Consultant or Specialist will normally work on two-three engagements at a time.

Required Experience

Must-Have:

  • At least 5 (Consultant) or 8 (Specialist) years’ experience in consulting, problem solving or program management roles in a private sector, government or social impact organisation.
  • Demonstrated systems thinking capability and an understanding of the Western Australian context in this regard.
  • Adaptability & curiosity – You thrive in dynamic, project-based work and can shift contexts across industries and offerings.
  • Problem-solving mindset – You’re proactive in identifying challenges and opportunities for our clients and partners.
  • Strategy development, qualitative and financial analysis and market research expertise.
  • Demonstrated experience managing complex projects.
  • Excellent facilitation and communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Highly motivated, action oriented with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Experience working with First Nations organisations with an understanding of cultural considerations.
  • Ability to use Word, Excel, PowerPoint and AI tools.

Desirable:

  • Experience in social impact or impact measurement.
  • Client management and business development experience.

Qualifications

  • Strong academic record including a graduate degree from a recognised program in Business, Social Science, Sustainability, Public Policy/Administration, Law, or other equivalent.
