  • This is a fully remote role, open to you wherever you live in Australia.
  • This is a part time role at 0.6 FTE (23 hours), ideally over 4 or 5 days
  • This is a Level 5 role within the Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services (SCHADS) Award

Purpose of this role

As the Executive Assistant, you will provide confidential, professional, high level administrative and operational support to ensure the CEO and executive team are effective, functional, and responsive.

What you will do

You will liaise with managers and team members as well as a broad range of stakeholders including board members, member organisations, government representatives and state and national organisations.

Administrative support, including (but absolutely not limited to!):

  • Management of executive calendars
  • Prepare and edit correspondence, communications, presentations
  • Coordination of travel arrangements

Communication and liaison, such as:

  • Be the primary point of contact
  • Build and maintain relationships
  • Handle incoming and outgoing communications

Plus the planning and coordination of organisational events.

Who we’re looking for

  • You have a high level of professionalism and discretion in handling confidential information
  • You have excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise
  • You have strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders
  • You have excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to accuracy
  • You are proactive and resourceful, with a problem-solving attitude
  • You have strong skills with Microsoft Office suite (Teams, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel and so on)
  • You may have worked in a similar role (maybe with a similar organisation)
  • It would be an advantage if you have a university or TAFE qualification in business administration or a related field
  • You must have a police record check before starting the role, and hold current valid employment Working with Children Check at all times
  • You may also have personal or close experience in working with people with an intellectual disability.
