  • Based in Bendigo, Victoria, ICAN Learn delivers training nationally.

The Opportunity

We are seeking part-time and casual Trainers and Assessors to deliver accredited training:

  • Mode of Delivery:
    • Predominantly online – live, interactive sessions from the comfort of your home.
    • Occasional face-to-face delivery – requiring nationwide travel for special sessions.
  • Work Flexibility: Enjoy flexible hours to suit your lifestyle while making a meaningful impact.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging, high-quality live online and face-to-face training programs in line with industry standards.
  • Develop, adapt, and implement innovative assessment strategies to meet learner needs.
  • Monitor learner progress, provide meaningful feedback, and maintain accurate training records.
  • Create supportive learning environments, helping learners overcome barriers to education.

Essential Qualifications

  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116 / TAE40122) or higher.
  • Relevant qualifications in Financial Counselling, Community Services, Social Work, Mental Health, or other related fields, with current industry experience.

Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise

  • Demonstrated understanding of Indigenous cultures and the ability to communicate effectively with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities, councils, and groups.
  • Proven ability to deliver and assess training using a range of modalities (online and face-to-face).
  • Strong understanding of compliance frameworks and responsibilities in delivering accredited training.
  • Experience working with learners from diverse backgrounds, particularly those facing barriers to education.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organisational skills.
