The Opportunity

For someone with financing, financial management, accounting, legal, or electricity industry skills and experience, this is an opportunity to make a difference. As an Indigo Power Director, you will help guide the company’s strategy and risk management processes as we expand our electricity retail footprint and our renewable energy asset base.

You'll work closely with Indigo Power's six other directors to continue to strategically guide and improve our renewable energy-focused, community-owned social enterprise.

The work will be fun, challenging and rewarding and offer a chance to make a big impact on a young, innovative and rapidly growing company.

Indigo Power is a community-owned social enterprise. Our purpose is to create a society powered by 100% renewable energy in a way that supports and empowers communities. We deliver an innovative electricity retail product across a delivery area that includes all of New South Wales and Victoria and we build, own and operate community-scale renewable energy infrastructure to supply customers with locally generated renewable energy. Indigo Power's projects arm delivers innovative renewable energy projects that connect local communities to locally generated renewable energy. A current major focus is the delivery of thirteen community batteries across regional New South Wales and Victoria.
