The Unpaid Super division partners with industry superannuation funds to run their arrears management program. From specialised legal and insolvency activities through to end-to-end arrears management processes - we recover unpaid superannuation entitlements from employers that the members may never have otherwise received.

The Opportunity

This role works within the Unpaid Super team, surrounded by experienced and supportive colleagues. You will be contacting employers to understand the reasons for late payments and ensure their employees receive the superannuation they are entitled to. This job is all about helping people get the super they have earned. It is rewarding and particularly satisfying knowing that you are making a real difference to the retirement savings and future of everyday Australians.

About you

You have a professional phone manner, are goal focused and you are an effective communicator with the ability to build rapport quickly. Behind your friendly and positive attitude is an enthusiastic and driven individual. You are willing to take on a challenging role that will bring excellent rewards in a supportive environment.

We are looking for candidates who have the following:

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability to quickly establish rapport over the phone.
  • Ability to quickly adapt to new IT systems
  • Strong time-management and organisational skills to manage own work
  • Drive and determination to continually grow and develop
  • Ability to learn quickly and follow complex processes
  • Strong team focus

One or more of the following will give you an advantage but are not essential:

  • Previous experience in debt collection or in a contact centre
  • Experience using Microsoft Dynamics
  • Basic understanding of the Superannuation industry
