About the role

The key function of this role is to promote accessibility to the justice system and best practice in the delivery of legal services to Legal Aid WA’s clients with disability. This role will engage in facilitation, implementation, and review of Legal Aid WA’s Disability Access and Inclusion Plan and Disability Action Plan, build networks, and collaborate with stakeholders across WA. This role also involves providing legal or social support services to clients with disability as part of Disability Legal WA, with the type of services provided depending on the skills and experience of the person appointed.

About you

We are looking for a self-starter with strong organisational, planning and communication skills. The successful candidate will understand the WA legal system and have sound knowledge of systemic issues adversely affecting people with disability.
