WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for a passionate person who enjoys a challenge and getting positive results for the people we support. We support and treasure our team and culture to ensure we have the right approach, attitudes and capabilities to service our stakeholders.

The role is a Full-time position, with some flexibility with the way hours are worked available for the right person; the position is based at our Ferntree Gully or Lilydale site.

SKILL SET

• Relevant Bachelor Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy or Speech Pathology
• Experience in working and engaging with families and individuals from diverse backgrounds
• Experienced in working with people with disabilities
• Sound knowledge of positive behaviour support with a passion for human rights.
• Sound knowledge base of disabilities and families.
• Experience in working with people with behaviours of concern and support
• Excellent communication skills

• NDIS Worker Screening Check
• In addition to the safety screening, the successful applicant will be required to provide proof of currency for: first aid certification – Provide First Aid HLTAID0012, manual handling and undertake the NDIS Worker Orientation Module.
