Located in Castle Hill is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Fundraising & Community Engagement Manager.

THE ROLE:

Reporting to the CEO some of your key accountabilities will include:

  • In consultation with the CEO, develop and deliver the fundraising and events calendar for 2025 and beyond.
  • Management of EOFY appeal and other key annual events.
  • Building key relationships with internal & external stakeholders.
  • Identifying key fundraising fundamentals – grants, bequests, regular giving, corporate partnerships etc.
  • Consistently seeking out profile and branding opportunities.
  • Overseeing community engagement events and opportunities.
  • Post campaign reporting.
  • Assisting the social media manager with event and campaign content.
  • Attendance at annual events including the Hills Mayor’s Christmas events.

THE CANDIDATE:

To secure this role the ideal candidate will have:

  • Strong experience within the fundraising space – you understand fundraising fundamentals and campaign planning. You enjoy being creative with campaign ideas and seeing them go from concept to successful completion.
  • Solid marketing experience – you’re confident in your ability to plan and execute fundraising strategies. You know how important it is to be consistently on brand.
  • Exceptional communication & relationship building skills – you’re confident pitching to corporates and other senior managers but you also love working within the community to build on the existing programs and support currently offered.
  • Confidence in your ability to offer up valuable concepts and suggestions – you will collaborate with the executive team, yet the bulk of the ideas will be up to you.
  • The desire to secure a role within an organisation who are passionate about delivering support to children with developmental delays, their families and the wider community.
  • A current working with children check (or a willingness to obtain one).

This is an excellent role, available due to continual growth and the need for an experienced candidate to take their campaigns and fundraising to the next level. You may be in a similar sounding role where the responsibility is there, but the title isn’t official and this is the next obvious step in your career.
