We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced health promotion practitioner to work with community and education settings to support the delivery of Star Health's Strategic Health Promotion Plan, which is aligned with the Victorian Public Health and Wellbeing Plan.

We have a focus on food, movement, climate change, mental health, gender equality and size/body inclusivity.

Ideally, you will possess:

  • A professional qualification in Health Promotion, Community Development or other relevant qualification and five years experience.
  • Experience in applying contemporary health promotion theory and approaches, including collective impact, systems thinking and co-design.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop, lead and evaluate health promotion strategies.
  • Excellent knowledge of maintaining stakeholder relationships with local government, schools, early learning services, community organisations and community members.
  • A clear understanding of the health and wellbeing issues impacting children and young people, and people living in social housing, gender equality and size/ body inclusivity.
