The Opportunity

The IT Business Partner is a pivotal role responsible for bridging the gap between IT and various teams within IPC Health.

In this newly created growth role you will be involved in strategic planning, stakeholder management, and the implementation of technology solutions that enhance operational efficiency and support the delivery of high-quality healthcare services.

As a strong communicator with excellent business partnering skills the ICT Business Partner will work closely with business units including executive and leadership teams to understand their technological needs and challenges, advocating for effective IT solutions that align with IPC Health's broader objectives of community health and wellbeing. You will be the primary point of contact facilitating a seamless information flow to support business change and enhancing organisational IT literacy and capabilities.

The role will also have a focus on compliance, learning and development and providing guidance and support for IT related change management processes.

Reporting to the IT Manager, this is a hybrid role with flexibility to work from home and is based at our Deer Park and Wyndham Vale locations for onsite collaboration days. This position is Full Time ongoing and is classified as an Administrative/Management Officer Grade 5 under the Health And Allied Services, Managers And Administrative Workers (Victorian Stand-Alone Community Health Services (Multi Employer) Enterprise Agreement 2022 – 2026.

  • Engaging with business units using a best-practice business partnering approach to facilitate seamless information flow between IT and the broader business.
  • Enhancing operational efficiency and supporting the delivery of high-quality healthcare services through effective strategic planning, stakeholder management, and the implementation of meaningful technology solutions.
  • Collaborate with the executive and leadership teams to understand their technological needs and challenges, advocating for effective IT solutions that align with IPC Health's broader objectives of community health and wellbeing.
  • Leveraging technology to improve healthcare outcomes.

To succeed you will need:

  • Relevant tertiary degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field with proven experience in IT management, ideally within healthcare sector.
  • Strong understanding of current and emerging IT technologies and their application in a healthcare context.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills to effectively engage with business stakeholders on technical undertakings.
  • Demonstrated ability to articulate complex technical concepts in tailored business terms to enhance organisational outcomes with business stakeholders.
  • Strong project management skills, with ability to lead IT projects successfully and experience in managing processes and systems to ensure the effective delivery of technology and business alignment.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and independently to achieve outcomes.
  • Strategic thinker with a focus on innovation, continuous improvement and highly adaptable, in managing technical change effectively.
