We invite you to be a part of the passionate, creative, and innovative team at IPC Heath. We are looking to recruit a Grade 1 or Grade 2 Paediatric Speech Pathologist to provide assessment and intervention services within our Autism Clinic.

Our service provides assessment and will soon be commencing intervention services as we continue our growth path. Join a dynamic multi-disciplinary team led by a dedicated team leader, including an occupational therapist, developmental psychologist, Paediatrician, wellbeing coordinator and administrative team. The team work collaboratively to provide assessment, intervention, and holistic support to families. We are committed to providing family-centred care within a social model of health.

You will make a difference by

  • Working collaboratively with the Team to plan service delivery for the communities we serve in the Wyndham and Hobsons Bay municipalities.
  • Assessing and reviewing children’s language, speech, and communication skills.
  • Undertaking ADOS assessments (training will be provided).
  • Implementing interventions that will address the needs and priorities of the children and their families.
  • Delivering services in a variety of formats including in-clinic and telehealth.
  • Reflecting, evaluating, and modifying services to enhance outcomes.

To succeed, you will need:

  • Graduate or post-graduate degree in speech pathology.
  • Grade 1:
  • Some experience working in Paediatric Speech Pathology (desirable).
  • Emerging ability to work collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary team to develop and implement evidence-based programs that meet the communication and wellbeing goals for children.
  • Grade 2:
  • Minimum 1-2 years’ experience working in Paediatric Speech Pathology
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary team to develop and implement evidence-based programs that meet the communication and wellbeing goals for children.
  • Experience in school settings or familiarity with educational environments(desirable)
  • Willingness to learn and be supported by colleagues.
  • Strong communication, networking, and interpersonal skills.
  • An ability to actively engage children and their families in service provision.
  • Current and valid Victorian Working with Children’s Check and driver’s licence.
