Jabiru Community Youth & Children's Services is a for-purpose social enterprise founded in 1986, which is centred on providing community support to children, young people, families and community members across greater Brisbane.

With 20 outside school hours care (OSHC) services, we focus on providing children with places of belonging, where everyone feels safe, and where our program of play-based experiences and recreational activities is wonderfully rich and diverse.

About the Role

We have fantastic opportunities for multiple casual, part time and permanent full time OSHC Educators to join our Jabiru OSHC teams in the following locations:

Reporting to the location Service Manager, you will engage in building strong and respectful connections and delivering a fun and engaging program for school-age children.

You will collaborate with a team of educators and contribute to and facilitate a high-quality learning experience while actively supervising children in a safe environment, that ensures their wellbeing at all times.

About You

  • Hold a Working with Children Check/Blue Card (or able to obtain)
  • Hold a current First Aid and CPR certificate (or able to obtain)
  • Minimum Certificate III in an area of study relevant to working with children (highly desirable)
  • Experience working within the OSHC/childcare sector (highly regarded)
  • Current Police Check
