The ACT Children and Young People Commissioner is seeking a Senior Capability Development Officer to contribute to the strategic delivery and implementation of the ACT Child Safe Standards Scheme by supporting organisations to build their capability in becoming child-safe, child-friendly and child-aware. Our ideal candidate will share our commitment to upholding the rights of children and young people, create opportunities for children and young people to participate in the work of the Commission, and place their best interests at the heart of our work.
The role involves the development of communication, marketing and online resources, designing and delivering online and face to face training, consultation and engagement with children and young people, and broader policy and project work to support the Children and Young People Commissioner’s statutory responsibilities within the ACT Human Rights Commission.
