About the Role

People are one of our most important assets at Jean Hailes for Women’s Health, and we’re seeking a People & Capability Advisor to provide assistance and generalist advice in all aspects of human resources matters.

This assistance and advice will both support our Senior Leadership Team to develop a high-performing, collaborative and cohesive workforce and ensure we comply with our legislated obligations.

  • 0.6-0.8 FTE
  • Access to generous salary packaging of up to $18,550 per FBT year
  • A supportive and inclusive workplace culture
  • Salary range $75,000 - $90,000 p.a. commensurate with skills and experience
  • Fixed term contract, ending 30 June 2027

About You

The ideal candidate will have a minimum 5 years’ experience and a Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in human resources or equivalent. You will provide advice and support to people managers using an end-to-end self-service model for recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and offboarding experience, support the process to review and maintain HR policies and procedures, act as the OH&S officer, and oversee management and administration of Workcover issues, so you will need a reasonable (but not detailed) understanding of the relevant legislation. This role requires strong interpersonal skills, excellent communications skills and the ability to work autonomously.
