Senior Payroll Officer

We are looking for a detail-oriented Senior Payroll Officer to join our team on a full-time basis at our St Kilda Road office. In this role, you will collaborate closely with the Payroll Manager to ensure the seamless operation of payroll systems, accurate and timely payroll processing, and provide support on various payroll-related projects as needed.

You will be a great fit if you have:

  • Oversee the complete payroll process, ensuring accurate and timely payment of wages and entitlements for our diverse workforce.
  • Manage the payroll system, including data entry, calculations, and reporting.
  • Collaborate with HR and managers to address payroll-related queries and issues.
  • Maintain compliance with relevant legislation, awards, and company policies.
  • Prepare payroll reports, manage tax obligations, and support ad-hoc projects.
  • Previous experience using PayGlobal software (highly desirable)
  • Proven ability to build strong relationships, act as a team lead when needed and support team development while managing day-to-day operations.
  • Strong award and enterprise agreement interpretation experience.
