The Board of the Women’s Legal Service Victoria (WLSV) is seeking to appoint a dedicated Chief Executive Officer to lead a passionate team to enable the organisation to achieve its ambitious objectives and maximise its social impact.
Working collaboratively with the Board and staff, you will build upon the strong reputation and excellent relationships of WLSV, to guide the impact and development of the organisation’s services, enhancement of sector capacity and advocacy for systemic change.
As an experienced and dynamic leader, you will demonstrate a commitment to and deep knowledge of feminist principles and values and be dedicated to building a gender equitable and just society. Exceptional stakeholder engagement and communication skills are essential, with a sophisticated approach to advocacy and reform. A kind and compassionate leader who empowers a high performing team and creates an inclusive and positive workplace culture is a must.
You will have a tertiary degree in a relevant discipline, ideally law.
The Board would be open to considering a job share arrangement from candidates who may wish to consider a part time appointment.
