The Director of Philanthropy and Partnerships is a key leadership role dedicated to diversifying funding for this highly regarded community services organisation in the homelessness, child, youth and family sectors.

The Director of Philanthropy and Partnerships is responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive fundraising strategy as well as building mission-aligned philanthropic and corporate partnerships to further expand the organisation’s impact. This position is both strategic and hands-on and ideal for a values-driven leader who can set a clear vision, inspire action, and deliver results.

We are seeking expressions of interest from candidates who demonstrate the following:

• A relevant tertiary qualification and a minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role
• A proven track record of growing high value, sustainable funding relationships including corporate partnerships, philanthropic and major donors
• Outstanding relationship building skills with a deep commitment to partnering
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise effectively to set targets and deadlines
• A highly motivated strategic thinker, with the ability to innovate and collaborate
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to persuasively convey the organisations vision and mission and make an ask
• Extensive knowledge of supporter engagement and fundraising methodologies, principles, tools and platforms including high-value digital fundraising campaigns, appeals, regular giving, events and peer-to-peer
