Reporting to the Executive Manager Corporate Services, the IT Manager is responsible for the delivery of strategic ITC projects and ensuring the IT systems and processes of the organisation are fit for purpose. This role will see you working for a community not for profit organisation responsible for IT strategy and operations. The position is supported by an internal service desk team member, and an external service provider.

The IT Manager will scope and source new systems and the effective implementation of these across the business as well as monitor and maintain IT infrastructure, cyber security and data governance.

We are seeking expressions of interest from IT professionals who have held a similar role and present with sound technical knowledge coupled with well developed interpersonal skills to build effective stakeholder relationships and influence change.

The successful candidate will also demonstrate the following:

• Relevant qualifications in computer science or information systems
• A self starter, proactive and committed to delivering outcomes.
• Proven experience in end-to-end project management and the ability to deliver projects on time and on budget.
• Sound technical knowledge of current network and PC operating systems, hardware, protocols and standards.
• Demonstrated expertise in cloud migration, Cyber Security enhancement, with the capacity to balance the need for structure and regulation with the practicalities of a small and dynamic not-for-profit organisation.
• Possess strong organisational, problem solving and time management skills
• Proven ability to engage and influence effectively and tactfully with stakeholders across the business.
• Highly developed verbal and written communication skills, including active listening, problem solving and conflict resolution skills.
