The Business

​Impact North is an Aboriginal-controlled not-for-profit organisation that works at the intersection of social enterprise and remote Indigenous business, driving positive change across Australia’s northern regions. Many Indigenous businesses in Northern Australia naturally function as social enterprises, creating impact through job creation and economic development in their communities. Through structured business programs, connected communities and coworking spaces, we empower entrepreneurs to turn their vision into reality.

To achieve our vision, we offer two key initiatives: the Business Builder Program, providing structured guidance and mentoring for entrepreneurs, and the Impact North Community, which creates spaces for connection, collaboration, and growth. Through these programs, we support entrepreneurs in transforming their visions into reality, driving positive change across Northern Australia's communities.

The Opportunity

Join Impact North as our Cowork Coordinator and play a vital role in shaping a cowork space that fosters collaboration, creativity, and productivity. This is more than just a reception role—you’ll be the driving force behind a welcoming and well-maintained environment for social enterprises, Aboriginal-led businesses, and organisations that support remote communities in the Northern Territory.

The Impact North Nightcliff cowork features premium facilities, thoughtfully curated amenities and a thriving community of changemakers in the Northern Territory.

In this hands-on role, you’ll be the first point of contact for guests and members, helping to build a strong sense of community. You will ensure the co-working space is clean, organised, well-stocked and inviting while enhancing the cowork experience and atmosphere with thoughtful touches like decor, lighting, and seasonal elements. If you take pride in creating beautiful spaces, love problem-solving, and enjoy connecting with people, this is an exciting opportunity to make a real impact.

• You have a strong eye for detail and aesthetics—you can instantly spot when something is out of place and know how to improve it
• You enjoy clean, organised spaces and take pride in maintaining a welcoming environment

• $60k-70k pro rata plus superannuation
