The Organisation:

Since 1854, MCM has been striving for those experiencing disadvantage to live their life, their way.MCM is now looking for a highly skilled and organised Executive Assistant and Board Administrator to join the team and provide senior-level administrative support, and governance support across multiple boards.

The Role:

This is a unique and pivotal role, providing senior administrative and organisational support to the Group CEO, Group Company Secretary and Board Chairs, and will serve as a key liaison point between a multitude of stakeholders.

Support to the CEO will comprise senior administration and organisation support, including calendar management. The key to the success of the EA will be the professional management of the interface between a wide variety of stakeholders and the CEO/CEO’s office. The EA will develop and prepare communications to stakeholders on behalf of the CEO, including the preparation and development of executive summaries and presentations.

Support to the Company Secretary and Board chairs will take the form of high-level board administrator/secretariat support including organising board calendars, minute-taking, compilation of board materials in Board Effect for each of the boards and their sub-committees, and providing the administrative support for compliance requirements.

The EA and Board Administrator will also be able to provide cover for the Company Secretary during periods of leave.

The Person:

To be successful in this role you must have:

  • Significant experience in executive administration to senior management (preferably to CEO)
  • Current Board Administrator/Co Sec Qualifications (eg. Certificate in GIA Foundations of Secretarial Practice)
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • The ability to liaise with a variety of stakeholders, including board members, CEOs, sector leaders and funders
  • Familiarity with board governance processes, minute-taking, and preparing board materials
  • A proactive and solutions-focused attitude, with a high level of attention to detail and professionalism, and excellent written/verbal communication skills
