The Senior Research Officer (Legal) will prepare materials for the Criminal Trial Courts Bench Book and contribute to the updating of the Commission’s other criminal law bench books as needed; prepare and review case summaries and other material; review, prepare draft material and conduct legal research in relation to, procedural and evidentiary issues; write/contribute to articles concerning trends in criminal law, sentencing patterns and current legal issues suitable for publication by the Commission; and oversee more junior members of the team.
