Kelly Club Australia Pty Ltd provides before care, after care and vacation care programs throughout Victoria. Our aim is to provide not just "a childcare facility", but to run programmes in a safe environment that entertain and inspire our future generations.

Our goal is to give children opportunities to do the things they love and enjoy in a supportive and encouraging environment. We use a professional program model and have local people take control of the program; this means Kelly Club programs best meet the needs of the local community.

Programs are focused around sports, cooking, discovery, trips and art and craft activities, as well as relaxation time around a busy life at school. Children are encouraged, educated and entertained during their time on our programmes.

We have been established in Victoria for over 7 years and have experienced partners in New Zealand.

The Role

We have a very exciting and newly created opportunity due to growth, which will give you a chance to utilise your experience in Management, to lead our 45 Programs, build our Management team and support the new schools coming on board across Victoria!

Reporting to the Managing Director, you will be responsible for managing the delivery of service excellence while retaining and growing commercially viable OSHC services across the region. This will be achieved by leading and developing a skilled workforce of passionate and engaged people. This position is vital in maintaining effective partnerships with our schools and building purposeful relationships with stakeholders in the wider community.

Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Management and leadership of a team of Management Team, coaching them through quality educational and operational systems
  • Ensure effective commercial relationships with all school key stakeholders and identify and resolve any contractual shortcomings.
  • Working collaboratively with school stakeholders to develop strategies, plans and targeted objectives aimed at achieving school stakeholder satisfaction and the efficient use of resources
  • Working with stakeholders to facilitate the successful implementation approved recommendations, issuing revised instructions and procedure manuals and drafting other documentation
  • Implementation and development of key strategic objectives
  • Preparing and recommending revised methods and procedures, workflows to resolve organisational problems in the area of OSHC and related areas
  • Reviewing operating procedures and advising procedures and standards.
  • Reliable, trustworthy, proficient and you bring out the best in people
  • You get the big picture, but can take responsibility to make sure the details get executed consistently and on time.
  • Focused on goals, outcomes and able to understand what success looks like to each individual school relationship you manage.
  • Preparing and recommending revised methods and procedures, workflows to resolve organisational problems in the area of OSHC and related areas.
  • Ensuring all WH & S policies and procedures are in line with the Department of Education's guidelines
  • Effective Reporting of all required aspects of the Childhood Education regional operation to interested parties
  • Manage the setup of new education locations, schools & care providers
  • Evaluating and Analysing operations, structure and current procedures, Identify any gaps, with a focus on continuous improvement across the region
  • Manage the financial viability of all services in the region, ensuring regular review with service Coordinators
  • Implement operational policies, procedures, systems & controls

About You

You are a Teacher or suitably qualified Education professional who had a minimum of 3 years of experience, in a similar role of responsibility.

Most importantly, you are energetic, driven, ambitious and communicative. You love to engage with people from all walks of life and are driven to raise the education of our future leaders, the children. You will have experience of leading and developing a team.

You are personable, enthusiastic and above all have the natural ability to engage with children, motivate them to join in our daily activities whilst ensuring their safety at all times. You have a sound knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations, coupled with a first aid qualification and working with children check.

Job Type: Full time

Salary: $100,000.00 – $120,000.00 per year

Benefits:

Schedule: 8 hour shift, Day shift

Supplemental pay types: Performance bonus

Ability to commute/relocate: Brunswick West, VIC 3055: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Education: Masters Degree (Preferred)
