ANROWS is a flagship institution in the violence against women sector, established to inform government policy, nationally. A not-for-profit company and registered Harm Prevention Charity, its mission is to deliver relevant and translatable research evidence which drives policy leading to a reduction in violence against women and their children.  

The CEO is responsible for the overall management of ANROWS, accountable to the Board and responsible for all staff. The CEO leads ANROWS contribution to the development of the National Plan to Reduce Violence against Women and their Children. The CEO will raise the profile of ANROWS, build new partnerships and develop the organisation’s fundraising capability.

The CEO leads a team to deliver high quality, innovative and relevant research, ensure the effective dissemination and application of research findings and build, maintain and promote collaborative relationships with and between stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced CEO and high energy leader with credibility in the family and sexual violence sector who is able to lead and motivate research staff, engage stakeholders and influence government policy.
