A little about the role

Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Team Manager will lead and support staff in case management, clinical decisions, duty of care, and performance management while driving organisational improvements and managing risks to meet strategic goals.

Some of the key responsibilities include:

  • Coordinate and oversee the daily activities of service delivery employees engaged in the provision of allocated program and/or services.
  • Deliver services to clients including but not limited to complex case management, assessment, intake and risk screening, case planning, case reviews, co-service delivery and critical incident response.
  • Oversee the overall management of service delivery, ensuring all operational processes align with the organisation's strategic objectives.

The base salary for this position is $106,389.92 – $111,092.80 per annum (based on 1.0EFT) + super + salary packaging options up to $15,900 per annum. This is a full-time ongoing position.

About you

To be successful in this role, you’ll come with:

  • Recognised Social Work Qualification (or similar)
  • Minimum five years’ experience as a qualified social worker in children's and family services, including two years in a leadership or supervisory position, guiding and supporting teams.
  • Demonstrated experience working with children, supporting their individuality and fostering their development.
  • Strong knowledge of relevant legislation and publications related to children’s services, as well as current best practices and child safeguarding standards.
