In the Arts and Culture team, you will play a crucial role in developing, facilitating and delivering engaging public-facing programs. Reporting to the Community Arts and Culture Activation Coordinator, you will work within a vibrant team to support community engagement and cultural activation projects.

The role

We are seeking a Community Arts and Culture Activation Officer to join our Arts and Culture team. In this role, you will:

• Facilitate the implementation and delivery of public-facing arts and culture programs and events.
• Coordinate administrative, communication, and logistical aspects of various activities to drive visitation and achieve cultural, social, and economic outcomes.
• Work collaboratively with internal teams and external partners to ensure effective execution of programs and adherence to Council policies and procedures.
• Provide support in evaluating program outcomes and reporting on performance metrics to ensure alignment with best practices and Council’s strategic goals.
• Actively contribute to the planning and coordination of community events and cultural initiatives that reflect the diverse needs of the community.

About you

We are looking for a candidate with:

• Proven experience in facilitating and delivering community arts and culture programs.
• Strong skills in administration, communication, and project coordination.
• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders and manage multiple tasks effectively.
• A passion for community engagement and cultural activation with a focus on achieving measurable outcomes.
