Our Carrum Family and Children's Centre is rated EXCELLENT against the National Quality Standard, and we are on the hunt for an experienced Director to work alongside our Centre Coordinator and Educational Leader, to lead our Carrum team and provide exceptional Education and Care to children in the Kingston Community. 

The Senior Coordinator is responsible strategic planning, driving the quality of the service, creating a positive team culture, supporting, and building the capacity of staff, working with families, building relationships with local agencies along with compliance, budgeting, and utilisation.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Be an engaging and inspiring leader with significant experience in large-scale integrated services
  • Understand the complexities of large services and have a track record of successful leadership and management in this context.
  • Have extensive knowledge around compliance with the Victorian and National Curriculum Frameworks, National Quality Standards, Child Safe Standards and Regulations.
  • Have experience managing budgets, actively monitoring income and expenditure, utilisation levels, and debtors, within set parameters. 
  • Have experience managing performance and disciplinary matters. 
  • Be strategic in their thinking and future oriented. 
  • Have a strong passion for early childhood education
