Do you have a genuine desire to work with, support and learn from teachers?
Join us, and be part of an exciting new nationwide initiative to help teachers create engaged, positive and productive classrooms that enable students to achieve their full potential.
Knowledge Society is a purpose-driven organisation that designs and delivers practice change programs. One of our focus areas is building the knowledge and capability of school leaders and teachers to improve classroom practice. We believe this is the biggest lever to improve student learning outcomes to ensure Australian children and young people graduate from our schools as knowledgeable and creative citizens.
Classroom Mastery is Knowledge Society’s signature, evidence-based program to help teachers, schools and education systems reduce classroom disruption and create safe, calm and ordered classrooms where learning takes priority. As part of our success story with Classroom Mastery, we are seeking expressions of interest from experienced individuals to join our program coaching team.
Key responsibilities of the role include:
We are interested in hearing from candidates based in Melbourne or Sydney to address a growing interest by schools in the eastern states of Australia.
Coaches will initially be engaged on a casual basis with a view to developing into more permanent positions as the program continues to gain momentum. The role will therefore suit someone who is already working in the schools sector and wanting to supplement their existing role with a new challenge, or someone who is looking to work flexibly in the immediate term.
Coaches will work alongside our Trainer/Coach, Classroom Mastery, with direction from our Classroom Mastery Expert.
