KU Alfred is looking for a qualified and passionate cook to create nutritious meals for children aged up to 5 years of age on a part time basis.
On offer is a permanent role working at the service Monday to Friday 8am to 1.30pm (5.5 hours) including a half hour unpaid lunchbreak.
The ideal applicant would have similar experience working as a cook in a Long Day Care setting, preparing meals that cater for varying diets and special food requirements of children as well as an interest in sustainable practices; growing, harvesting and preparing food grown at the service.
An interest in cooking with children and educators and sharing skills and knowledge to enhance the educational program is highly desirable.
