About the role

Kurbingui Youth Development Ltd is offering a 12 month position for a Community Services Traineeship (multiple positions) based in Zillmere, QLD. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the community services industry while working towards a nationally accredited Certificate III in Community Services qualification.

What you'll be doing

• Assist with the delivery of a range of community development programs and activities
• Provide support and information to community members on available services and resources
• Collaborate with local stakeholders and community groups to identify and address needs
• Participate in community outreach initiatives and events
• Maintain accurate records and documentation
• Undergo on-the-job training and complete the Certificate III in Community Services

What we're looking for

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with diverse community members
• Passion for community development and a genuine desire to make a positive impact
• Willingness to learn and complete the Certificate III in Community Services qualification
• Relevant experience in a volunteer or community-based role is desirable
• Availability to work in a full-time capacity for the duration of the traineeship
• Working with Children Check Positive Notice (Blue Card)
• Valid Open or Provisional Driver's License
