Do you have experience in delivering programs, projects and workshops to young people 12 – 18 years old?
Are you motivated by supporting young people to be the healthiest versions of themselves possible? Come and work with us!
KT Inc / Kyogle Youth Action is looking for an experienced Youth Project Worker to join our team to deliver an exciting and diverse youth program.
The Youth Projects Worker will plan, organise, deliver and evaluate activities and services aimed primarily at young people. In order to achieve this, you will actively engage with vulnerable young people, at times their families and service partners to provide support and advocacy through one-to-one support strategies including case management and/or through group work activities. This may include coordinating service provision across the sector and at times the region.
The role will also entail building stronger social connections through events, activities and support networks. You will lead community development initiatives that aim to improve the lives of young people and work toward prevention of harm.
All opportunities will be taken to ensure your practice is underpinned by youth participation principles.
Your way of working will demonstrate a strengths-based approach and this will involve your work with individuals, groups and your day-to-day professional practice within your team and the organisation.
