Are you an energetic, committed and resilient senior lawyer with strong professional networks and expertise in civil litigation (preferably including employment law and succession law)? Experience in family law and criminal law is desirable. You must have experience in managing files and supervising a team of senior lawyers, secondees, and professional and student volunteers.

Selection Criteria:

Essential

• Admission as a lawyer in WA (or capable of immediate admission) and in possession of or capable of immediately acquiring an unrestricted practising certificate.
• Extensive experience in legal practice, including civil litigation.
• Experience in managing small teams of employees and volunteers with a high volume file load.
• Demonstrated high level strategic, analytical and problem solving skills.
• Ability to network and to promote the service to the profession.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Sound computer literacy in the Microsoft Office suite and experience with electronic file management systems.
• Ability to work without supervision and within a budget.
• Demonstrated understanding of the provision of pro bono services and a commitment to ensuring access to justice for all members of the community.
